Everyone I know seems to really love the 85mm.  So, I borrowed one from one of my lovely photographer friends and I gotta say — I didn’t love it.   I mean, I liked it and thought it produced some very nice images, but I think I’d rather have a wider angle lens.  It’s worth renting though if you are curious.

This was taken at f 1.8 and it did produce a very impressive image with such a low f-stop.
