Avery Ranch might have one of the best firework shows in town! We’ve always just watched from our backyard but this year there was a huge party at the pool! They had two live (and quite awesome) bands, a bounce house, food and of course, the pool. And we were there almost the entire time — from four until ten!

We swam and swam and swam … and swam some more. The kids didn’t even realize they were hungry until almost seven (which is when my kids are normally sleeping). Tyler was hilarious … he just kept jumping in and saying, “watch this!”  And he doesn’t even seem phased by his pink floatie!

and each of the kids loved jumping in and being thrown in the water! It really was an evening of all smiles.

… and then they passed out flags and pinwheels to all the kids. And it’s amazing how entertaining those little plastic flags can be. I asked the kids to each strike a pose … and this is what they came up with! I love how sweet Rocco decided to taste it first … and then there’s Sabrina who always makes me giggle. Notice the two younger boys are missing? They were busy. Very very busy.
