So when I turned 38, I made a list of random facts about me … and as I read them today, not much has changed!
…and I could add two more things to the list this year … but instead, I’ll share some of my favorite images from my 40th birthday trip with the loveliest women I know. Kara and Lisa and Renee and Shelley and Connie (and this cute gentleman that I know) are missing from the images, but they were there with me in spirit!
My favorite moments? My sister passing out with a beer in her hand. Our driver who made sure we were hydrated and fed. Dancing. Silver Oak Wine — Good God that stuff is good. Deep conversations. Waking up to sunrises in a vineyard. And the best one? the unknown birthday wishes that my friends wished for me — that brought tears to all of our eyes.
Turning 40. It’s just another number. And besides that, I’m happier at 40 than I’ve ever been.
Wow! I didn’t realize turning 40 could be so much fun!
Oh yes, dear one. Told you that life really does begin at 40!
