So, it seems that the photo booth is all the rage in Austin, Texas these days! And photographers love them, too. Why? Because you act a little silly. You wear funny hats and glasses and mustaches. You can’t help but have real smiles and giggles!

They are easy to set up — this one we just used white butcher paper. But you can also just buy fun fabric to hang as a backdrop. I prefer a black and white fabric but I’m sure a brightly colored one would be just as fun. After all, these images are about being a little silly.

Right next to the photo booth have a bucket of goodies filled with all sorts of crazy things. I always keep my eye out for more things for my photo booth bucket.

A self timer is also nice to have on hand for a photo booth (that is, unless you are doing a photo booth for a kids party).
