Please meet my friend, and fellow photographer, Emily and her sweet baby girl!

Emily and I met last year and have become fast friends. I feel like I’ve known her for years! You know when you just connect with people and can open up and share your stories? Well, that’s the kind of person Emily is!

We decided to swap mini sessions to get some mommy-and-me pictures. I could go on and on and on about how important it is to GET into a photograph with your kiddos. Whether you are a professional or a novice or just an iPhone camera kind of person …hand over your camera and get in the picture. There’s no perfect time. There’s no need to wait. Just get in the picture! I know what some of you are thinking … you want that perfect outfit, new shoes, maybe you want to get down to that perfect size. But, trust me, your kids do not care what you look like or what you are wearing. Trust me. You are present in their lives so let them see it.  And, you know if I’m talking to you!  I wish there were more photographs and me and my mom together as a child.  And we can’t get that time back!  So … get in the picture!
