Okay. I haven’t really been gone that long but since the start of school, I’ve barely had a moment to sit down!
The long Labor Day weekend turned into a whirlwind of sessions and a very wide range of emotions. I photographed two newborns, one two year old, a NILMDTS call and then I got to photograph the birth of one of my very best friends’ son. If you wonder what NILMDTS is … you can read all about it when you click on the link. It’s a volunteer organization that I’ve been a part of for a little over a year now. And, thankfully, in that time, I’ve only had two calls. When you read more about it, you’ll understand. And hopefully it will help you understand the whirlwind of emotions I experienced in those few days. As soon as I got the call, I thought that my girlfriend would go into labor soon thereafter so that I could focus my energy towards a new life!
So … that being said … I had a lot of work to catch up on … plus, Tyler started a Mother’s Day Out program (which he isn’t that fond of) and I’m volunteering at Sabrina’s school … and. and. and.
Many posts coming up before the Aggie game today!
