Spring Break 2013 was all about hanging out with friends and exploring places in and around Austin! Since our school district does a mini-winter-break after Christmas, we already had our big family vacation skiing … so, this was a perfect week at home. And it was unbelievably fun (and exhausting). Who knew that sleeping in and not being on a constant schedule could be so tirin?. : ) And, if you know my kiddos, you know that if they sleep until almost eight, it’s a big deal. It was such a fun week that it has me so excited for the summer!
Day One — we started our morning by doing every single puzzle in our house, had a picnic for lunch and had dear friends drive down from Dallas down for a visit. We showed them a local favorite … Kiddie Acres. I can hardly believe that Sabrina still enjoys it — simply because the rides aren’t near as exciting as the roller coasters that she prefers! But, when you know you get a snow-cone at the end, I suppose that helps!
Delighted to see Tyler’s smile when the carousel started up. It is so hard to be patient when you are almost three. Looks like the children had a great time at Kiddie Acres!
Ha! So true @[100000803636335:2048:Annette]!! He’s really so very patient for an almost three year old. He just sat there and waited and waited (the attendant was waiting for me and my girlfriend to finish taking photographs and hold on). 🙂
