Welcome home, daddy!!

This mama knew exactly what she wanted when she booked a family session in August.  Her husband was going to finish up his year long deployment at the end of November and she wanted photographs taken as soon as he got home.  So, we booked a date for a week after he had his feet back on the ground in Texas!  I was so honored to photograph this lovely family.  And I’m so glad we captured him with his baby girl who just celebrated her second birthday.   And while I’m so very thankful that he is serving our country and willing to make that sacrifice, I simply cannot imagine being away from my child for a year.  You could tell this little girl loved her daddy-so and I hope you can see it in these images.

Want to thank this man and all of the men from his unit? Feel free to do so in the comments below.
