Friday night was an exciting night for my business and my family. And just in case you aren’t on Facebook and missed the announcement there … I won Best Maternity Photographer 2012 at the Austin Birth Awards.

It was a lovely gala hosted by Get Babied and I had the honor of attending with many other photographers, and my midwife and my acupuncturist, and my former OB. It was so fun to be in a room with all these lovely women! And I was thrilled when they called my name … and I’m so very thankful for all my clients and friends and family who voted for me. My mom was so excited when I called her. I love that I can still make my parents proud.
