… and not my typical type of photography … but when a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to join him on a model-shoot, I thought, why not?  I’m always up for learning new techniques.   And I learned a lot that day — for one, I learned how to shoot in Kelvin, which I’d never even attempted before.   Plus I got to shoot with a new lens, the 70-200, 2.8L and he got to shoot with my 85 1.2L.   (and then the next day he went out and bought that lens).  I know, I’m dorking out on photography lingo — but if you are a photographer and don’t own the 85 1.2L, you need to rent it!

Anyway … what do you think? Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous?
